Hi there - I’m Matthew, a storytelling wedding videographer in Dublin who’s documented weddings all over the beautiful island of Ireland and right across Europe!
Your big day isn’t just another party. And even though we all know the blueprint, let’s be honest - your wedding isn’t just another wedding. It’s going to be infused with every little thing that makes you two you.
My goal is to capture that essence as naturally and elegantly as possible. Emotions are my raw material. The magic element that will keep you coming back to your wedding film, over and over and over again.

MY PHILOSOPHY
I bring a relaxed approach to the modern wedding films that I create, keeping an open mind to the individual flow of each wedding.
Every wedding I film is inspired by the couples that I shoot – what makes the connection between the two of you and the loved ones that surround you, so utterly unique.
Your special day will come with its own one-of-a-kind moments, bright glimmers that I capture in a style that is 100% authentic to you. Your union is my ‘why’, the reason I work so hard to capture all the little details and big moments in one beautiful piece of cinema that you’ll treasure for the rest of your days.
Beyond Videography
On the rare occasions that I’m not capturing elegant wedding films for beautiful couples, I love to explore the dramatic Irish coastline with my wife and son, drop into coffee shops, come up with fresh creative concepts or just hang out with friends. I’m a bit of a foodie and always on the lookout for new cosy cafes and interesting restaurants. I’m also a sucker for a good old fashioned night at the movies.
Why ‘Dear Oliver’?
Good question! And one I get asked a fair bit ;)
Back in 2020, my partner and I welcomed our first son into the world. Given the huge life change that becoming a dad brings, it felt the right time to mix things up in my business as well. I rebranded to Dear Oliver - my son’s middle name - as a tribute to the little guy and to remind myself of the things that are truly important in life. What will I do if we have more kids? Everyone’s called Oliver ;)
